New Year's Eve, my wife and I were meeting some friends for lunch. Her car was in the shop, my mom was staying to watch the kids, and we didn't want to leave her without a vehicle that had car seats - just in case. I also didn't want to drive her Corolla.
So we took the Alfa.
Pulling out of our subdivision onto the main road, I dropped the clutch and tossed the sucker across three lanes of traffic in a blink. The best launch I have ever achieved.
"HOLY FUCKING SHIT!"
The car only has 156 bhp but it's light and geared to accelerate.
Over lunch, she told our friends that she could FINALLY see why I was so into that car, and that it was pretty cool. She admitted my car was pretty cool!

Always a good thing when the lady appreciates your car.
My girl appreciates mine and talks about how fast it is to her friends and what not.
One kid overheard and said "The OHNO5OH Cobalt? That fucking car is nuts..." Turns out she goes to school with a kid who has a WS6 that I walked in 4th gear while he struggled to find a gear to roll on me with.
